About Lupl

Abhijat (“Ab”) Saraswat is the Chief Revenue Officer at Lupl. In his role, he helps lawyers spend less time managing work and more time doing the work. With more than a decade of experience building, growing, and leading successful sales organizations within the legal technology space, most recently at Litera, Ab brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Lupl and leads the company’s revenue growth strategy and execution.

Ab is a Barrister (non-practicing), and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2015. Abhijat has worked for a number of large multi-national corporations across a range of sectors and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science and Neuroscience from the University of Keele, UK.

Jeff is Lupl’s Chief Executive Officer and leads its mission to help lawyers work better together.

Jeff is an experienced business leader and has spent his entire 30-year professional career serving the legal sector. Before joining Lupl, Jeff was a consultant providing expert and advisory services to lawyers and their clients on the financial, accounting, economic and data analytics aspects of complex disputes and investigations. As part of the executive leadership teams of two global consulting companies, Jeff led the profitable growth of business units in the disputes, forensics, and legal technology sectors.

After graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, Jeff settled in the Washington DC area where he still lives with his wife in their recently emptied nest. Outside of the virtual office, Jeff enjoys boating, cooking, and running, and is an avid but entirely average golfer.

Matt is the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Lupl, and Lupl’s longest service member of staff!

Before joining Lupl, Matt practised as a tech, media and telecoms lawyer. He spent half his career in London and the second half in Singapore, working with clients from startups to multi-national companies and governments on business, legal and regulatory issues in the tech, media and telecoms sectors. As a partner at international firm, CMS, he worked with companies like Microsoft, Facebook, BBC Worldwide, Discovery, NBC Universal and LinkedIn. His team won multiple awards, including TMT Law Firm of the Year in 2018-19 and 2019-20.

In 2019, Matt got involved in the early stages of what was then a mysterious, cross-industry platform-building effort codenamed “Project Aries”. Aries was ultimately spun off as Lupl and Matt enjoyed himself so much that he hung up his law firm partner hat to focus full-time on building the platform.

Matt spends most of his spare time chasing two toddlers around the house and garden in Sussex, England. When they allow him out, he enjoys football (the original version) and exploring the growing number of vineyards in the Southeast.
