October 2020: What’s the latest on Lupl?

Well, how is it already October?

We’re finally coming up for air after a very busy period since Lupl’s media launch. We’ve been busy responding to all of the interest, building out the platform, working with integration partners, and onboarding users to our private beta.

This is a quick update on what’s been happening and a glimpse of what’s coming next…

1. 500 companies join Lupl’s beta waitlist

Around 500 companies (including law firms, corporate legal departments and others) from more than 50 countries have joined the Lupl beta waitlist. We’ve been blown away by the level of interest and are doing our best to onboard beta testers into the platform as quickly as possible. If you haven’t already, sign up today and be amongst the first to get your hands on the platform. If you’ve already signed up, you’ll be hearing from us in due course…

2. Platform development is accelerating

Our web and iOS apps have been live for private beta users since March. Over 350 users are busy testing out Lupl as we speak. We’re operating 2-3 week agile development sprints and have shipped a ton of new features since March, and ethically disposed of a large number of bugs. Lupl is still a work in progress but the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re excited about some upcoming things on our roadmap. Wondering how it works? Check out our “How it works” page to learn more and stay tuned for more updates.

3. We’re bringing everything together in a single platform.

Almost 100 companies have been inspired by Lupl’s “Bring your own system” approach, which focuses on integrating with existing tools and systems. We’re actively working on partnership discussions with these folks and will be making more announcements soon. If you represent a provider of solutions to companies in the legal sector, contact us at hello@lupl.com.

4. Lupl in the news

Lupl has recently been covered in BloombergReutersThe American LawyerThe Business TimesLegal FuturesLegal IT Insider,Artificial LawyerJuveExpansionExtraJournal and Asia Business Law Journal, amongst many others. We’ve been particularly excited to see the interest coming from so many different countries. Lupl is an international platform for lawyers everywhere and the coverage has been a good international mix.

5. On track for wider release in 2021

We remain on track for a wider public release in 2021. Our main focus remains on building a great platform that makes life easier for people working on legal matters. What that means in practice is that we’re busy sitting down with users to get feedback and inputs on our beta release. That feedback, and those inputs, are directly shaping our roadmap for the Lupl platform. And our roadmap is guiding our development team as we build out the platform.

That’s it for now. We know that many of you are itching to get your hands on Lupl beta – remember to sign up for our beta waitlist and stay tuned for more updates soon.
