Company Overview 

Lupl is a fast-growing SaaS startup in the legal sector. Our platform helps next-gen legal teams get work done. We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in legal technology to join our dynamic team. 

Location 

This position is open to candidates based in the US (Eastern or Central Time Zone) or UK. 

Responsibilities 

Sales Engineering 

  • Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process 
  • Assist in product demonstrations and presentations 
  • Work closely with the sales team to close deals 
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to ensure a smooth sales process 
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique business needs and propose tailored solutions 

Customer Onboarding & Technical Implementation 

  • Assist new customers with technical aspects of the onboarding process 
  • Provide technical implementation support, including setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) and integrations 
  • Ensure a seamless transition for customers from initial purchase to productive use of the product, from a technical standpoint 
  • Collaborate with the Platform Solutions team to customize the product based on customer requirements 

Technical Support 

  • Serve as the primary technical support contact for customers (L3 support) 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that can be resolved outside of code 
  • Proactively identify and address customer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues 
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to ensure ongoing support and relationship building 

Customer Training 

  • Conduct training sessions for customers to ensure effective use of our platform 
  • Create and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations and user guides 
  • Identify and address training gaps to improve customer satisfaction and product adoption 
  • Provide ongoing training and support to customers as they expand their usage of the product 
  • Act as a product expert and provide insights to the product team for continuous improvement 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in a SaaS company in the legal sector 
  • Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn new technologies (e.g., SSO solutions, Microsoft Azure, Auth0, with any experience with iManage and/or Net Docs a bonus)  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers 
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction goals 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
